Toronto Raptors Host Sam the Barista and Manager at Practice and Game

Not only did Sam the barista recently get surprised with a trip to Japan, but he and his manager, Chris, got to live the dream by hanging out with the Toronto Raptors.

And it's all thanks to Ellen DeGeneres.

More than a million people have viewed a video of Sam, a barista who has autism and dances while making drinks at his job, earlier this year. DeGeneres saw the clip and decided to invite him and his manager on her show. As she is known to do, the talk-show host had a few surprises in store for her guests:

A month later, Chris and Sam had a special visit with the manager's favorite NBA team.

After watching the Raptors host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night, the Starbucks employees attended Raptors practice Tuesday. It was there that they had the opportunity to meet the team, pose for photos and do interviews. Of course, Sam couldn't let this opportunity pass without challenging one of the players to a dance-off.

While the trip to Japan will be tough to beat, it's clear Sam had a blast during this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
