If those signs are accurate, these two fans flew from Germany to Detroit to watch the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Pistons on Tuesday night—only to discover their favorite player, Kevin Durant, will not take the court.

ESPN.com's Royce Young snapped a picture of the unaware fellas, who were holding KD- and OKC-themed signs.

Young then informed them No. 35 will ride the pine, which probably felt like a punch to the gut:

Poor dudes. Let's hope, by some miracle, they get a selfie with Durant or possibly a signature.
