Raptors vs. Rockets: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 25
Two teams headed in the opposite directions met on Friday night, with the Houston Rockets surprising the Toronto Raptors, 112-109.
The Raptors are quietly nipping at Cleveland's heels for the top spot in the Eastern Conference playoff standings, but they have been beatable on the road with a 20-15 record away from home.
Toronto had great balance on offense, as seven players scored at least 11 points. Jonas Valanciunas was in the middle of everything, scoring 16 points and grabbing 18 rebounds.
The Rockets have fallen apart at the seams, with no cohesiveness on the roster, yet they remain in the playoff mix because this is an unusually soft season in the Western Conference once you get past the top three teams.
A win over Toronto will help Houston build some momentum. It helps that James Harden went off, putting up a triple-double with 32 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds. Dwight Howard was virtually missing in action, scoring just two points on two field-goal attempts in 23 minutes.
