Hornets vs. Pistons: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 25
A battle of Eastern Conference playoff contenders went the Detroit Pistons' way, as they knocked off the Charlotte Hornets, 112-105.
The Hornets had been red hot since February 6, winning 17 of their previous 21 games before Friday. They have vaulted into a virtual tie with the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat for the top spot in the Southwest Division.
Kemba Walker did all he could to keep those good vibes alive, scoring 29 points and dishing out five assists. Jeremy Lin was not as effective off the bench, going 2-of-11 from the field and committing three turnovers.
The Pistons are starting to show more consistency, winning their previous four games prior to Friday and keeping hold of the final playoff spot in the east.
Double-double machine Andre Drummond continues to dominate in the paint with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a team-high 21 points in the victory.
