Timberwolves vs. Wizards: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 25
The Minnesota Timberwolves got a rare road win, knocking off the Washington Wizards, 132-129 in double-overtime, on Friday night.
The Timberwolves were coming off a victory over the Sacramento Kings, in which the trio of Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine each scored more than 20 points.
Towns led the way against Washington with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Every member of Minnesota's starting five scored at least 13 points, and the team was a perfect 22-of-22 from the free-throw line.
The Wizards have been as streaky as any team in the NBA. Before losing to Atlanta on March 23, they had a five-game losing streak followed by a five-game winning streak.
Bradley Beal was terrific in the loss, finishing with 26 points, five assists and four rebounds. John Wall could not be stopped, finishing with 22 points and 16 assists, but it wasn't enough for the Wizards.
