Nick 'Swaggy P' Young Says Passing Is 'Overrated' After Picking Up Prom Assist

Los Angeles Lakers wing Nick "Swaggy P" Young doesn't pick up many assists, but fortunately for one high schooler, it does happen from time to time.

And now, the high schooler has a date for prom.

On Tuesday, Twitter user @jonnyfray gave Young a shoutout for being a part of his "Swaggy Promposal." Of course, when some people see "Swaggy P" and "assist" in the same sentence, they just can't help themselves:

Young isn't going to shy away from his 0.6 assists per game this season or the fact he has averaged just one assist per game in his nine-year career. He likes to shoot the ball. That's just who he is.

But we do now have photographic evidence that a Swaggy P assist does, in fact, exist. Urban legend no longer.
