Warriors vs. Spurs: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 19
The San Antonio Spurs put their 34-0 home record on the line Saturday when they faced off with the 62-6 Golden State Warriors at the AT&T Center.
Golden State's "Splash Brothers" backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson entered having shot respective percentages of 54.1 percent and 52.8 percent from the field and 50 and 59.6 percent from three-point range over their past five games.
That guard tandem was bound to give San Antonio—the NBA's No. 1-rated defense at 95.7 points allowed per 100 possessions—a stiff challenge even in the friendly confines of its home arena.
The Spurs limited Curry and Thompson to a combined 2-of-19 shooting from beyond the arc and held the Warriors to a season-low point total en route to an 87-79 victory.
