Knicks vs. Wizards: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 19
Matt FitzgeraldMar 19, 2016
The Washington Wizards have had among the NBA's most disappointing seasons but had a great chance to extend their winning streak to four games on Saturday against the New York Knicks at the Verizon Center.
Washington's star point guard John Wall was coming off a triple-double and has kept the Wizards competitive despite 2-guard Bradley Beal being banged up.
Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony needed some help from his supporting cast if New York was meant to have a chance at stealing a win on the road.
Anthony and rookie Kristaps Porzingis scored 20 apiece, but that didn't prevent Washington from winning by a comfortable 99-89 margin. Wall had 24 points and 10 assists in the victory.
