Kobe Bryant Hooks Up Alex Ovechkin with Autographed Jersey, Shoes

This is what it looks like when greatness recognizes greatness.

On Tuesday night, Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin hit the Staples Center on his off day to take in the Kobe Bryant farewell tour.

He wound up leaving the arena with a few keepsakes to remember the Black Mamba by.

Bryant gave Ovechkin both an autographed jersey and signed sneakers. Along with his John Hancock, the Los Angeles Lakers star included a simple message to show his respect for the NHL star: "To Alex. One of the all time greats."

To have one of the best players in NBA history write something like that has to mean a lot to Ovechkin.
