Isaiah Thomas Wants to Meet Tom Brady, Pick Brain 'About Winning Championships'
Isaiah Thomas has a long way to go before he is to basketball what Tom Brady is to football.
But the 5'9" Boston Celtics All-Star wants to meet the New England Patriots quarterback and "pick his brain" about what it takes to win at the highest level.
Per ESPN.com's Chris Forsberg:
"I got the chance to talk to Kobe. I'm real good friends with Floyd Mayweather, so I get to pick guys-like-that's brains. I just would like to sit down and actually meet [Brady] and also just pick his brain about winning championships and how he goes about his day, how he prepares. I like his preparation to everything.
"
According to Forsberg, Thomas "smiled wide" when someone brought up similarities between the two.
After the Sacramento Kings drafted him 60th overall in 2011, the 27-year-old bounced around before becoming a full-on star with the promising Celtics.
