Pistons vs. Knicks: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 5
Adam WellsMar 5, 2016
The New York Knicks secured a much-needed victory on Saturday night, knocking off the Detroit Pistons, 102-89.
The Knicks entered Saturday having lost 16 of their previous 19 games to lose any hope of contending for a playoff spot. The Pistons have now dropped back-to-back games after their four-game winning streak was halted on Wednesday at San Antonio.
Carmelo Anthony, Robin Lopez and Arron Afflalo combined for 65 points, 26 rebounds and 11 assists for New York in the win.
Andre Drummond and Tobias Harris were the only Detroit starters to reach double figures in scoring. Drummond had 21 points and 16 rebounds in defeat. Harris had 18 points, his best output since Feb. 24.
