Hawks vs. Lakers: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 4
The Atlanta Hawks helped their playoff chances with a dominant 106-77 road victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
The Hawks are in the midst of a five-game road trip that started with a close loss against Golden State on Tuesday. It culminates with a showdown against the surging Toronto Raptors.
A matchup with the Lakers proved to be a nice way for the Hawks to get back on track. Six players scored in double figures for Atlanta. Dennis Schroder led the way with 16 points in just 18 minutes off the bench.
Kyle Korver had a terrific shooting night, connecting on all four of his three-point attempts to finish with 15 points.
The Lakers are riding out an otherwise forgettable season, looking to get their young nucleus on the same page for next year. They have now lost 10 of their last 11 games, but Julius Randle was a bright spot with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
D'Angelo Russell had his worst shooting performance since Jan. 28, going just 3-of-16 with seven points, five assists and five turnovers.
