Wizards vs. Cavaliers: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 4
The Cleveland Cavaliers held serve on their home court Friday night, knocking off the Washington Wizards, 108-83.
The Cavaliers have seemed to find bad headlines this season, despite owning the Eastern Conference's best record. It hasn't always been smooth with this team, but the results so far are hard to argue with.
Friday was a terrific team effort for the Cavs, who had six players score in double figures. LeBron James tallied a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds, as well as dishing out seven assists.
Kyrie Irving led Cleveland with 21 points and eight assists. Kevin Love did not play, as head coach Tyronn Lue chose to rest his star forward.
The Wizards have been surging late in the season, winning four straight games before Friday night and climbing within a half-game of Detroit for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
It was a brutal shooting night for the Wizards. The missed 17 of their 20 three-point attempts and shot just 39.5 percent overall. John Wall led the attack with 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
