Knicks vs. Celtics: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from March 4
One of the NBA's historic rivalries was renewed on Friday, as the Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks in a 105-104 thriller.
Avery Bradley got to play hero for Boston, hitting a go-ahead layup with less than 18 seconds remaining to secure a win and extend the Celtics' home winning streak to 13 games.
Isaiah Thomas was masterful for the Celtics, scoring 32 points and dishing out eight assists. Evan Turner shone off the bench with a season-high 21 points.
The Knicks have been falling hard, with Carmelo Anthony admitting earlier in the week that the team's owner forced him to issue a statement about addressing a heckler at Madison Square Garden.
Friday was another bad day for New York, which led by eight points with less than four minutes remaining. Anthony did his part to help the offense, breaking the 30-point barrier for the second time since the All-Star break.
The Knicks' starting five all had double-digits in points. Robin Lopez tallied his second double-double in three games with 12 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
