Randy Foye Found Out He Was Traded to Thunder with Update from NBA App

Getting traded is rough. But finding out you’ve been dealt after your phone gets a notification?

That’s just not right.

On Thursday, such was life for Randy Foye. The shooting guard found out the Denver Nuggets traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder when he got an update from the NBA app, per Royce Young of ESPN.com:

Poor guy. On the bright side, though, he’ll be going to a team with a chance to land one of the top three spots in the Western Conference and make a deep playoff run. 

Those types of notifications are much more fun to read.
