J.R. Smith and Taj Gibson Have to Be Separated After Tristan Thompson Dunk

Thomas DuffyFeb 18, 2016

In the third quarter of Thursday night’s matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls, J.R. Smith and Taj Gibson had to be separated after jostling for position under the basket.

Gibson eventually shoved Smith, who quickly retaliated after Tristan Thompson flushed home a two-handed dunk. A referee and players from both sides hopped in to break things up.

Both were issued a technical foul as the host Cavs took a 58-46 lead on the play.
