
Memphis' Shaq Goodwin Recreates Vince Carter's 'Cookie Jar' Dunk During Game
There are some dunks strictly reserved for dunk contests.
The "Cookie Jar" dunk made famous by Vince Carter isn't one you typically see during games—but Memphis Tigers forward Shaq Goodwin doesn't care.
Late in the first half of Saturday's game against Tulane, the 6'9" Tigers forward had a chance to throw down whatever dunk he wanted to on a fast break. He decided to pay tribute to Carter, a fellow Memphis hoopster, by hanging on the rim from his elbow after the dunk.

Again, this was during a game. Not practice. Not a dunk contest. A game.
Goodwin was assessed a technical foul for his showmanship. Though Memphis head coach Josh Pastner can't like seeing his senior give away free points, especially while his team is losing, he has to love the athleticism that was on display.
