The Atlanta Hawks put together a very impressive road performance, defeating the Chicago Bulls 113-90 on Wednesday night at the United Center.

Atlanta's bench played a significant role in its success. Four bench players—Mike Muscala, Mike Scott, Thabo Sefolosha and Dennis Schroder—scored in double figures, and Schroder's 18 points led the team.

Eight Hawks in total scored in double figures, including 17 points and eight assists from starting point guard Jeff Teague.

Chicago received a strong effort from Derrick Rose (14 points, five rebounds) and a double-double from Pau Gasol (20 points, 10 rebounds), but the rest of the starters combined for only 14 points.

The Bulls bench was led by Bobby Portis (12 points, 10 rebounds), whose double-double came on his 21st birthday. Doug McDermott also added 17 points.

Atlanta remains in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, 1 game behind the Boston Celtics. They will face the Miami Heat next Friday, after the All-Star Break.

Chicago, who remains in seventh place in the East, will face the Cleveland Cavaliers next Thursday.
