Rutgers' Corey Sanders Forces 2OT vs. Illinois with Ridiculous Desperation 3
Doing whatever he could to give his team a chance to win against the Illinois Fighting Illini on Wednesday, Rutgers Scarlet Knights guard Corey Sanders kept the game going with a desperation three-pointer in the final seconds of the first overtime.
With his team down 87-84, Sanders managed to create a shot for himself with about four seconds to play in overtime. His shot came up short, but fortunately for Rutgers, the ball bounced out to him.
That gave the freshman another shot to pull off some heroics.

Tie game.
Scarlet Knights players immediately rushed over to mob their clutch teammate. However, as spectacular as the shot was, there was still a game to play.
Illinois eventually pulled away for a 110-101 victory in triple overtime. In the loss, Sanders put up 39 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds.
