San Antonio Spurs vs. Cleveland Cavaliers: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Matthew SchmidtJan 30, 2016

LeBron James scored 29 points, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving added 21 apiece, and the Cleveland Cavaliers handled the San Antonio Spurs, 117-103, on Saturday night.

The Spurs were without Tim Duncan, who missed his third straight game with a sore knee, and his absence showed as the Cavaliers blistered San Antonio's defense for 66 points in the first half.

Cleveland used fantastic ball movement to find open shooters and attacked the basket throughout the contest, and Love had one of his best games of the year by scoring 18 points in the first half.

Things went from bad to worse for the Spurs in the first half when LaMarcus Aldridge picked up three fouls in the first quarter.

With Duncan already sidelined, Gregg Popovich was forced to go to players like Kyle Anderson and Boban Marjanovic early on.

The Cavs shot 54.9 percent from the floor and went 9-of-23 from three-point range.

The Spurs shot 49.4 percent themselves, but went just 6-of-18 from distance.

Kawhi Leonard led San Antonio with 24 points.

Next up for the Spurs is a home meeting with the Orlando Magic on Feb. 1.

The Cavaliers will head to Indiana to take on the Pacers that same night.
