Draymond Green Didn't Cry After All-Star Berth, Didn't Want to Become MJ Meme

Draymond Green is a man of great wisdom.

After learning Thursday he would be playing in his first NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 14 in Toronto, the dynamic forward nearly cried.

You couldn't have blamed the Golden State Warriors star if he did. His mother and a group of family members surprised him with the news, per CSN Bay Area:

But he didn’t. And in holding off the tears, Green avoided replacing the viral meme of Michael Jordan crying.

Just like he does for Golden State, Green was thinking a step ahead.
