Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Low Remastered 'Alternate '90' Release Date, Pics, Price
Jordan Brand has decided sneakerheads have waited long enough for another edition of the Air Jordan 5 Low, so Saturday marks the release of a new "Alternate '90" edition.
The classic red-black design hits hard out of the gates, catching the eye with splashes of smart Gym Red, Black and Metallic Hematite.
Here's a look at the release details, per Sole-U.com:
| Saturday, January 30 | $175 |
Call it a breathtaking offering on a classic just in time for what many can only hope are warming temperatures.
Foot Locker provided an initial look at the sleek design:
Where to start? The Jumpman on the tongue is impossible to miss, a red affair slapped well on a gray background. Jimmy Jazz took a look at the shoe out in the wild, which gives observers a superb look at the logo:
The side deserves credit for its notable texture and sweeping design, including the net-like mesh in the middle.
SneakerFiles.com flaunted both matching sides:
Villa zoomed even further to give a closer look at the smooth gray perforations for the shoelaces and the red-tipped tops that give way to the insides of the shoes:
As one can expect with a classic Jordan, the iconic logo doesn't just get a spot on the tongue. There's one on the inside of the shoe and one on the very back.
SoleCollector.com zoomed on the back logo while also giving away just how sleek the bottom of the shoe looks, with slick red grips and a black-on-black "Jordan" to round out the design:
The incredible line from Jordan continues here, folks. The shoe company continues to do an exceptional job celebrating the brand's 30th anniversary, with Saturday's release merely the latest in a long line of eye-catching quality.
There are undoubtedly some juggernauts releasing this weekend, but from the looks of it, the "Alternate 90" won't last long on store shelves.
Sneakerheads can cop the new take on a classic starting Saturday.
