Rockets' Dwight Howard Sinks 3/4-Court Shot with No-Look, Backward Heave
Kyle NewportJan 17, 2016
It's no secret that Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard, a career 57.1 percent shooter from the line, struggles with free throws.
However, when he takes a shot from the opposing free-throw line, he hits nothing but net.
The Rockets posted a video Sunday of Howard taking a no-look, backward shot from the opposing free-throw line. Taking a shot from that distance would be difficult even for a sharpshooter like Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. When you add in everything Howard does on the shot, it seems nearly impossible for it to go in.
Somehow, Howard drained the shot with ease. If he was playing a game of H-O-R-S-E with anyone, they might as well just take the letter.
