Hornets vs. Pelicans: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 15
After snapping a four-game losing streak Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, the New Orleans Pelicans captured back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-December Friday night with a 109-107 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
Incidentally, the Hornets were also seeking back-to-back victories after dropping six straight games to start 2016.
Thanks to Anthony Davis' alley-oop dunk on a pass from Jrue Holiday with two seconds left, the Pelicans were able to get their second straight win.
Ryan Anderson was terrific for the Pelicans with a season-high 32 points in just 29 minutes thanks in large part to six three-pointers made.
Kemba Walker and Nicolas Batum led the way for Charlotte with 25 points each, but the other three starters combined to make just eight field goals.
