Gregg Popovich Awkwardly Calls Tony Parker to Bench, Tells Him He's Doing Great

Gregg Popovich is a peculiar dude. He’s a great coach, for sure—just a bit strange.

During Thursday’s back-and-forth contest against the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers, the San Antonio Spurs head coach called Tony Parker over to the bench.

"TP!" he yelled to his point guard before adding an awkward wave.

Parker listened intently.

"You’re doing great."

Parker, still in the heat of battle, didn’t look amused.
