Spurs vs. Pistons: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 12

The San Antonio Spurs rode an eight-game winning streak into Detroit Tuesday as they prepared to take on the Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

San Antonio's top-ranked defense figured to challenge the upstart Pistons, who have emerged this season as a legitimate playoff contender in the Eastern Conference.

Center Andre Drummond has been a big reason for Detroit's success. He had his work cut out to thrive against a Spurs frontcourt starring the legendary Tim Duncan and high-profile free-agent arrival LaMarcus Aldridge.

The Spurs took home a 109-99 win.
