Heat vs. Warriors: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 11
Joseph ZuckerJan 11, 2016
Monday night's game was the Miami Heat's fifth in eight days, and making matters worse, their opponents were the red-hot, 35-2 Golden State Warriors.
Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra knows discretion is the better part of valor. Even fully rested, his team would have its hands full against the reigning NBA champions. Throw in what was bound to be some fatigue among the Heat players, and the chances dwindled further.
As a result, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reported before the game Miami might be without Dwyane Wade, Hassan Whiteside and Tyler Johnson when it played the Warriors.
Wade and Johnson both played, but the Heat fell 111-103 to Golden State.
