Spurs vs. Nets: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 11
Joseph ZuckerJan 11, 2016
The San Antonio Spurs aren't exactly the most optimal opponents for a team that's playing its first game since firing its head coach.
On Monday, the Brooklyn Nets announced they fired head coach Lionel Hollins, naming assistant Tony Brown the new head coach on an interim basis. Brown's first test comes against a Spurs team currently on an 18-2 run since the start of December.
As if that isn't enough, the Spurs are allowing the fewest points (89.7 PPG) in the league, which makes for a toxic combination for the Nets when added to their 29th-ranked offense (95.7 PPG).
