Hornets vs. Nuggets: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 10

The Charlotte Hornets have slumped to below .500 in the new year, but the equally sluggish Denver Nuggets might be just the opponent needed for Charlotte to turn things around.

The Hornets closed out 2015 a half-game behind the Indiana Pacers for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. They entered Sunday's action two games back after losing their first five games in January.

The Nuggets haven't fared much better of late, losing 10 of their last 12 games. Much as it has all year, Denver struggled defensively during that stretch, allowing 104 points a game.

Charlotte's bad luck in 2016 continued Sunday following a 95-92 defeat.
