The Golden State Warriors probably wouldn't have expected much competition if they knew a 34-2 start was in their future. But, with the San Antonio Spurs lurking close behind in the West, the margin for error remains limited as they faced off with the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

Sacramento finds itself in the muddled middle of the Western Conference. While that leaves plenty of work to do if it wants to eventually make the playoffs, the team has at least started to produce more steady results following a 1-7 start.

In the end, the Warriors won 128-116.
