The Cleveland Cavaliers ran away with their sixth straight win Friday night thanks to a 125-99 defeat of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
J.R. Smith exploded for 27 points (10-of-12 shooting, 5-of-6 from three) and LeBron James fell two assists shy of a triple-double (13 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists) as the Cavs pulled away in the second half. Kevin Love added 20 points and nine rebounds.
Andrew Wiggins acquitted himself nicely with a career-high 35 points in the loss, while Karl-Anthony Towns posted 22 points and six boards.
