Mavericks vs. Pelicans: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 6

In a battle of overachievement meets underachievement, the Dallas Mavericks traveled to New Orleans to take on the Pelicans Wednesday night.

The Mavs are very much in the thick of the playoff race despite suffering through a difficult offseason, while the Pels are surprisingly a team on the decline even with Anthony Davis leading the charge. 

Dallas stuck to the script and secured a 100-91 victory over the Pelicans.
