Pistons vs. Celtics: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 6

The Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics are two of the most successful franchises in NBA history, and they continued their attempted return to prominence Wednesday night.

Both the Pistons and Celtics are very much in playoff contention in the Eastern Conference, and they looked to improve their positioning at the expense of the other at TD Garden in Boston.

The Pistons mounted a late charge and captured a 99-94 victory.
