The Orlando Magic entered Monday's game against the Detroit Pistons inside the Eastern Conference playoff picture but had lost two straight.

Detroit would match the Magic's record at 19-16 with a victory at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The hosts had dropped four of five games entering Monday's contest.

The Pistons would go on to register the win, 115-89.
