The Oklahoma City Thunder faced the first of what could be a stretch of games without their best player when they took on the Sacramento Kings Monday night.

ESPN.com's Royce Young reported Kevin Durant would be out of action with a sprained right big toe. While the injury isn't serious, it could force the 27-year-old to be out for a little while.

The absence of Durant played a big role Monday as the Kings pulled off a 116-104 win.
