Celtics vs. Nets: Score, Video Highlights and Recap from Jan. 4

The Boston Celtics hoped to help their own cause for the present and future in Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.

Boston receives the Nets' first-round pick in the 2016 NBA draft, which figures to be high if Brooklyn's early-season struggles continue. The Celtics won the first meeting of 2015-16 but had dropped the prior two contests versus the Nets.

The Celtics would go on to register the road win, 103-94.
