Paul George and Marcus Morris Nearly Start Brawl After Pacers Beat Pistons

Thomas DuffyJan 2, 2016

Some things never change.

The Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons fighting is one of those things.

After scoring Indy’s last 21 points in a 94-82 win Saturday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Paul George nearly ignited a brawl along with Detroit's Marcus Morris. This came shortly after Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy was ejected:

The spat started after PG13 stripped Morris with only seconds remaining and the game all but finished. They had some words, and then Morris gave George a strong two-handed shove.

That's when teammates stepped in.

As Monta Ellis and George Hill continued to go at it with various Pistons, Pacers head coach Frank Vogel pulled his star aside.

This was no "Malice at the Palace," but it was still pretty heated.
