After a surprising home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Boston Celtics looked to get back on track Saturday afternoon against the Brooklyn Nets at TD Garden.

Every game counts in the competitive Eastern Conference, so Boston entered the contest knowing it couldn't afford to lose to one of the NBA's cellar-dwellers on its home floor.

However, a strong Nets team buoyed by 30 points and 13 rebounds from Brook Lopez captured a 100-97 victory.
