Oklahoma vs. Kansas: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
Forty minutes wasn't enough to decide the first No. 1 vs. No. 2 meeting of conference teams since 2007, as top-ranked Kansas held on for a 109-106 triple-overtime win against Oklahoma on Monday night.
Kansas (13-1, 2-0 Big 12) led by as many as 11 points in the first half but trailed by nine early in the second before rallying. The game was tied at 77 after regulation, knotted at 86 after one overtime and at 94 following a second extra period. In the third five-minute session, the Jayhawks came out on top thanks to a couple of big defensive plays down the stretch: a pair of steals by Frank Mason III that turned a one-point deficit into a three-point victory.
