NFL Predictions Week 16: Picks and Odds Guide for All Matchups on the Schedule
The Kansas City Chiefs are on a roll, and while they may not be as red-hot as the undefeated Carolina Panthers, they have won eight games in a row and are on the heels of the Denver Broncos for first place in the AFC West.
The Chiefs may not be unstoppable, but it is very unlikely that their winning ways will come to an end at home in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns.
The Chiefs had plenty of issues in the first six weeks of the season when they got off to a 1-5 start. But Andy Reid's team has come together since then, as quarterback Alex Smith has been an outstanding leader (16 TDs, four interceptions) who does not turn the ball over and the defense has shown significant improvement.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
At the start of the year, the Chiefs secondary was too generous. Their pass defense was almost nonexistent, and it didn't seem like that area would improve much during the season. However, that's exactly what happened. With two weeks to play in the regular season, the Chiefs rank eighth in yards allowed and have become a well-rounded team.
Cornerback Marcus Peters has had an amazing year with seven interceptions and 30 passes defensed. He should have no trouble shutting down Cleveland wide receiver Travis Benjamin.
The Browns have turned their offense over to Johnny Manziel, but he is not likely to have any more success against the Chiefs than he did against Seattle in Week 15, when the Browns dropped a 30-13 decision.
Look for outside linebackers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali to pressure Manziel throughout the game.
The Chiefs have a dependable running game with Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware, and Smith has built an excellent partnership with wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. The former Philadelphia Eagle has caught 79 passes for 985 yards and six touchdowns. Tight end Travis Kelce is also likely to have his way with Cleveland's 26th-ranked defense.
The Chiefs are 13-point favorites in this game, according to Odds Shark. While that's a lot of points to absorb, the Chiefs are simply too hot and have too much to play for. They will build a 10-point lead by halftime and pull away in the second half.
Kansas City will get the win and cover the spread.

Raiders have too many weapons for struggling Chargers
The Oakland Raiders could not shut down the Green Bay Packers in Week 15, but they should have an opponent much more to their liking in the team's 2015 home finale against the San Diego Chargers.
The Chargers have been beaten up and injury-plagued throughout the season. Philip Rivers and Co. are not giving up on the season, but they have limited weapons with just two weeks to go.
The Raiders, on the other hand, have made progress this season. Derek Carr is one of the most improved quarterbacks in the league and has a bright future. Running back Latavius Murray has rushed for 956 yards and has a 4.1 yards-per-carry average.
Wide receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree have given Carr one of the best one-two punches in the league. They have combined for 144 receptions and 13 touchdowns.
The Raiders are six-point favorites, and they are not going to disappoint their home fans in the regular-season home finale. They will get the win and cover the point spread.

Vikings defense will hold ODB-less Giants in check
The Minnesota Vikings are playing for a spot in the playoffs—and possibly more than that. If the Vikings can beat the New York Giants this week and win at Green Bay in Week 17, they will win the NFC North crown.
The Giants are trying to overcome some severe odds and win the NFC East. They need to win both of their remaining games and also need additional help for that to happen.
But beating Minnesota and getting the best of the Vikings defense seems like an unlikely proposition. The Giants will not have star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. in the lineup after a one-game suspension was handed down for the cheap shot he delivered to Carolina's Josh Norman. Beckham appealed the ban, but the suspension was upheld Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The total in this game is 45.5 points, but the Vikings will be more than content to let their running game and defense take over.
Even without Beckham, the Vikings don't want this game to turn into a fast-paced, high-scoring affair.
Look for these two teams to play a low-scoring game that stays in the 30s. Take the under.
