Grady Carted Off After Scary Injury
Saturday, Nov. 28
According to Sunflower Sports' Evan Pflugradt, Grady took an incidental elbow to the face that bent his neck back before he hit the floor. Per KAKE's Shane Ewing, Grady's face hit the floor, and he did not move as trainers attended to him.
Pflugradt showed Grady being attended to as he was carted off the court on a stretcher:
After the game, Pflugradt provided updates from Marshall, who said Grady was conscious but not moving and that he had little feeling in his extremities.
Grady, a senior, averaged 10.5 points, six rebounds and one block per game through four games this season before the matchup with Alabama.
With these types of injuries, basketball is the furthest thing from what's important here, as his safety and well-being are the main focus.
