Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: NBA DFS DraftKings Optimal Rankings for Nov. 25

Brian MaziqueNov 25, 2015

The New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis ($10,800) has played like a man possessed in his last two games. He's averaged 60.9 fantasy points per game (FPPG), and there's every reason to believe his roll will continue on Wednesday night.

Davis and the Pelicans take on the Phoenix Suns, the same team the New Orleans superstar went for 32 points and 19 rebounds against in his last game. Wednesday's contest takes place in Phoenix, but with the way Davis is playing, the location is inconsequential.

He's good for another 55 fantasy points or more. Take on that hefty salary and make him your top pick.

He's clearly the top-ranked optimal player for Wednesday night's games. Here's a look at the rest of the top 10 and a few guys who figure to be major values.

2DeMarcus CousinsMilwaukee Bucks55$10,600
3Russell WestbrookBrooklyn Nets52$11,300
4James HardenMemphis Grizzlies49$10,300

6Kevin DurantBrooklyn Nets43$9,600
7Andre DrummondMiami Heat42.5$9,400
8Greg MonroeSacramento Kings41$7,200
9Blake GriffinUtah Jazz40.5$9,300
10Eric BledsoeNew Orleans Pelicans40$8,400

Deron Williams ($5,900)

It's been a little while since the Dallas Mavericks' Deron Williams put together a stretch like the one he just completed. He came back down to earth a bit on Tuesday night against the Memphis Grizzlies, but he's still been hot.

Prior to Tuesday's loss to the Grizzlies, Williams was averaging 19.6 points, 6.6 assists and two steals per game in his last three contests.

In a quote captured by Reuters, Williams said he's enjoying the game again: “I’m having fun again. It’s been a long time since I had fun playing basketball. This team has made it really fun to play.”

DraftKings players should have fun benefiting from Williams' solid play. It's best to get in on Williams while his salary is below $6,500. If he keeps playing the way he has recently, his salary won't be this low for long.

Zaza Pachulia ($5,800)

He isn't going to win you any style points, but the Mavericks' Zaza Pachulia has turned into a double-double machine. He has four straight and six in his last 10 games.

Pachulia has also had 30 or more fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games. He and the Mavs will face the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. The Spurs are one of the league's stingiest defenses, but Pachulia's work on the glass should still play well.

For just under $6,000 in DK salary money, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more consistent big.

Avery Bradley ($5,900)

The Boston Celtics' Avery Bradley has had no problems shooting of late. He's poured in at least 21 points in four of his last five games. On Wednesday, Bradley and the Celtics will host the winless and defensively challenged Philadelphia 76ers.

Philly is allowing 103.9 points per game and is ranked 19th in opponent's field-goal percentage and 24th in opponent's three-point percentage, per ESPN.com.

Boston is coming off a game on Tuesday night, but Bradley had another strong performance, as he scored 25 points on the road against the Atlanta Hawks. Some DK owners will avoid players who are playing on the tail end of a back-to-back sequence.

It makes sense, but the 76ers are so bad defensively that players going against them still have to rank highly on your list in any circumstances.

Markieff Morris ($5,400)

When Markieff Morris gets over 30 minutes of action, he usually performs well. He's had the time in his last two games, and he's produced an average of 39.8 fantasy points.

One of Morris' primary weapons is his three-point shot. He and the Suns will face the team that defends the three the least of any in the league. The Pelicans have allowed their opponents to shoot 41 percent from downtown and 46 percent overall.

Morris should have a field day Wednesday.
