Davis Will Play vs. Utah Jazz

Saturday, Nov. 28

The team announced Davis will play Saturday.

How Davis' Presence Impacts Pelicans

New Orleans, which was expected to take that next leap among top NBA teams, has struggled out of the gates and holds one of the worst records in the Western Conference. One of those hurt players has been the 6'10" Davis, who's already missed three games this year. Other notable players such as Quincy Pondexter, Omer Asik and Norris Cole have been in and out of the lineup.

Davis is a perennial MVP candidate and the cornerstone of the franchise. When he's not healthy, New Orleans loses its best scorer, rebounder, shot-blocker and two-way player.

It appears Davis' most recent injury was more of a scare than anything so that bodes well for the Pelicans, but the team overall still has a lot of work to do moving forward.
