Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
The highest seed of the tournament, Kansas, is ranked fourth in the nation but might drop after a loss to No. 13 Michigan State in its second game of the season.
The Jayhawks should have no problems in their first game, playing the hosts Chaminade University, who are 0-2 and play in Division II.
All eyes are going to be on Perry Ellis, the senior forward who is Kansas' top player. Averaging 18.5 points per game through his first two, he is on the Wooden Award watch list as one of the best college players in the nation.
He isn't the only one on Wooden watch competing in Maui. Indiana has a trio of players in guards Yogi Ferrell and James Blackmon Jr. and forward Troy Williams, while Vanderbilt sees center Damian Jones in contention.
There won't be a shortage of talent in Maui as the tournament will last just three days, with the championship game being played on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
