Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: Best DFS NBA DraftKings Daily Values for Nov. 14

Tyler ConditNov 14, 2015

Just out of curiosity, did anybody play the DraftKings college basketball slate last night? If you didn't, let me catch you up.

The Pittsburgh/Gonzaga game in Okinawa, Japan, was cancelled at halftime because of a slippery court. Pitt led 37-35, but the first-half stats were washed away from the record books.

So DFS players that went heavy on guys like preseason National Player of the Year favorite Kyle Wiltjer missed out on a ton of fantasy points. Friday the 13th strikes in bizarre ways.

I hope there's a great lack of slippery courts and forgotten stats in Saturday's seven-game slate of NBA games.

Eric Bledsoe ($8,100) vs. Nuggets

Per RotoGrinders.com, the Nuggets allow the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards. Though Brandon Knight is listed as the Suns point guard, Bledsoe does the majority of the assisting. In his last two games, both up-and-down affairs against Western Conference powerhouses, Bledsoe has 20 assists to go with his 54 points and 12 boards.

According to Basketball-Reference.com, Phoenix ranks second in the league in pace with 101.5 possessions per 48 minutes. If they dictate the tempo of this game, Bledsoe should once again fill up the stat sheet against offensive-minded off-guards like Will Barton and Gary Harris.

Evan Fournier ($6,300) @ Wizards

Per Basketball-Reference, the Washington Wizards are the fastest-paced team in the league. Last year they finished 18th. They're up an astonishing eight possessions per 48 minutes. It's too bad they can't seem to find any defensive balance to go with this new up-tempo system. The Wizards' defensive rating is up five points per 100 possessions. That is a chasm.

According to RotoGrinders, they're allowing the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards. Though Fournier is listed at small forward, he's the de facto shooting guard when Victor Oladipo misses time.

In his last four games, Fournier hasn't played fewer than 37 minutes, according to DraftKings.com. With his lust for shooting, his high minute count and the increased pace of play, Fournier should produce.

Andre Drummond ($9,500) @ Clippers

For the first time this season, the Optometrist (because he's nearly averaging 20/20) was outplayed by his counterpart. DeMarcus Cousins scored 33 points and added nine boards and his Kings held court on Wednesday when the Pistons came to town.

Tonight Drummond takes on Lob City in Los Angeles. I doubt he'll be out-dueled in back-to-back games. Though the Clippers play great defense with DeAndre Jordan on the floor, they still allow big fantasy numbers to opposing centers.

DeAndre is a dedicated shot-blocker. He'll challenge all kinds of floaters, layups and mid-range shots, which leaves Blake Griffin alone to keep Drummond off the glass. I love Drummond's odds in that scenario. He's leading the league with 7.1 offensive rebounds per game, per Basketball-Reference. Rebounds and put-backs are the best way to score in fantasy basketball. The combination is worth 3.25 points and nobody else benefits from an assist.
