Mark Cuban Says He Might Release DeAndre Jordan's Text Messages to Media Someday

DeAndre Jordan's free-agent flip-flop is a thing of the past, but Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban may not let the center live his divisive decision down if comments following Tuesday's 120-105 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans were any indication.

According to the Los Angeles Times' Ben Bolch, Cuban told reporters he may eventually release the correspondence he had with Jordan before the center backed out of a verbal agreement with the Mavericks and re-signed with the Los Angeles Clippers on a four-year max deal:

"Some day I'll let you read all the texts and we'll get into it and we'll talk about it, but now is not the right time," Cuban added, per Bolch.

Though Jordan was previously slated to sign with the Mavericks, a last-minute change of heart redirected him back to Hollywood after head coach Doc Rivers and Clippers players met with the center in Houston. Jordan reportedly shunned the Mavs' last-ditch efforts to contact him, according to ESPN.com, and he proceeded to ink a new contract with the Clippers once the NBA's free-agent moratorium was lifted.

The Clippers and Mavericks have already met once on the hardwood this season on Oct. 29, and the final result was a 104-88 Los Angeles triumph. Jordan scored just six points, but he pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds and blocked four shots in the win.

Before Wednesday's game in Dallas, Cuban sarcastically pretended not to know Jordan, per Bolch"Maybe someday, somebody will introduce me to that guy. I don't know his name. You can tell him I said that."

With a win Wednesday, the Clippers would clinch at least a split of the season series before the clubs pick things back up in March.
