Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: Best DFS NBA DraftKings Daily Values for Nov. 7
It's the 12th day of the NBA season. After a wild offseason, things are beginning to shake out according to plan. The biggest shock of the first week had to be Houston going 0-3 with a point differential of minus-60. But the Rockets have won three straight coming into Saturday night's Western Conference Semifinals rematch with the 4-1 Los Angeles Clippers.
As the marquee matchup of the night, this will undoubtedly be a high-scoring affair, but I'm only playing two guys from this matchup. Here's what I'm rolling with on Saturday night.
| Position | Player | Price | Opponent |
| PG | Steph Curry | $10,400 | @ Sac |
| SG | Marcus Thornton | $4,800 | @ LAC |
| SF | Kawhi Leonard | $7,900 | vs. Cha |
| PF | Tim Duncan | $6,100 | vs. Cha |
| C | Al Horford | $7,300 | vs. Was |
| G | Jeff Teague | $6,500 | vs. Was |
| F | Nene Hilario | $3,100 | @ Atl |
| Utility | Clint Capela | $3,700 | @ LAC |

Houston is the NBA's equivalent of the Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man. It flies out in transition and shoots layups and three-pointers almost exclusively. Plus, its best player, James Harden, flails wackily more than anyone else in the league.
While at times out of control, those Harden drives create havoc for opposing defenses. Last season, per Grantland's Kirk Goldsberry, Houston rebounded 55 percent of Harden's misses (Goldsberry's data was compiled through Jan. 1, 2015). That is where Capela dominates.
Dwight Howard's backup averages 2.2 offensive boards per game this season, per Basketball-Reference.com. He's also shooting 74 percent from the floor. That's a result of a ton of easy buckets off Harden passes and Harden misses. With Howard out, Capela should get between 25 and 30 minutes of playing time. That's a lot of opportunity for someone who costs less than $4,000.

Thornton, believe it or not, is on his sixth team in seven seasons. He's a chucker. According to Basketball-Reference.com, for his career, he's averaged 11 field-goal attempts in just under 25 minutes per game. On the Rockets, that's a welcome philosophy. In four games this season, Thornton has already attempted 60 shots and 30 three-pointers.
Speaking of threes...Steph Curry should be in your lineup. Per Basketball-Reference.com, he leads the league in made field goals, three-point attempts, three-pointers, points and cute off-court moments. People talk about the 50/40/90 club. That's when a player makes 50 percent of his field goals, 40 percent of his threes and 90 percent of his free throws. Steph is in the 60/50/90 club. He has 213 points on 123 shots.
Per DraftKings, Steph is averaging 59.5 fantasy points per game. Anthony Davis is second with 49.6.
Curry will suit up against his younger brother and a Kings team that, according to Basketball-Reference.com, leads the league in pace and allows the fourth-most three-point attempts to opposing teams. Don't be surprised if the Warriors throw up 140 tonight.
