Under Armour Curry 2 'Floor General' Release Date, Pics and Retail Price
Stephen Curry's latest shoe for Under Armour, the Curry Two Floor General, is set to hit stores on Friday at a retail price of $129.99.
Under Armour Hoops tweeted out an image of the new shoe:
The shoe's patriotic colors follow the "general" theme, with a red mesh base and a blue tongue. The shoe also has a Floor General patch with gold stars on the back of the tongue, and the words "I can do all things" included in white just above the heel, per pictures shared by Brandon Richard of Sole Collector.
The white heel and Under Armour logo finishes off the patriotic nod.
Curry is certainly the floor general for Golden State. Last season's Most Valuable Player and NBA champion is having a ridiculous season for the Warriors thus far, averaging 37 points, 6.3 assists and five rebounds in four games this season.
He's already dropped 40 points twice in the young campaign, including a 53-point outburst against the New Orleans Pelicans on Oct. 31. If there was any fear that complacency might set in for Curry after last season, well, he's blown that notion to bits with his early play and the team's undefeated start.
This latest design by Under Armour seems particularly appropriate, given Curry's blistering start and continued leadership for the Warriors.
