Chuck Pagano Q&A Runs Off the Rails with Fake-Punt Jokes Before It Can Start
In theory, there couldn't be a better time for a Chuck Pagano question-and-answer session.
That's because there are so many unanswered queries that continue to float around the league after Sunday night's 34-27 loss to the New England Patriots.
Most of them stem from that one inexplicable special teams maneuver the Colts tried to foist upon New England in the third quarter of the game.

"What was up with that fake punt? How was it supposed to unfold? Did you forget to convert to metric?"
So, in a way, this is the perfect time for Pagano to answer inquisitive fans. Unfortunately, as the head coach's radio program proved Monday morning, the wounds of Sunday's game are too fresh for anyone to take such a session seriously.
The Twitter account for Pagano's weekly radio show asked fans to submit questions for a Q&A segment slated for Monday's broadcast.
It did not go over well. At all.

Well, that gone better.
Granted, it's always a bold move inviting a swarm of radioactive hornets into your mentions immediately after swatting the hive with a burning tree branch, but there have been worse instances of fan interaction backdraft.
Remember that Roger Goodell Q&A put on by the NFL's Twitter account in 2014? That was like handing someone a pair of iron clogs and saying, "Go ahead. Kick me anywhere."
In any event, Pagano will have his chance on Monday's show to shed further light on the bizarre play.
As USA Today reported, Pagano has already taken responsibility for the goof-up, saying that "it's on [him]" and that the team wasn't "lined up correctly."
Please, Chuck. Elaborate.
Dan is on Twitter. His coach ran something like this in high school once, and we've all spent a lot of time burying that game deep down.
