Supreme x Air Jordan 5 Release Date, Pics and Retail Price
Supreme and Jordan Brand are two of the biggest labels in their respective fields, so when they collaborate on a new shoe, collectors can't get to the stores fast enough.
Sneaker News provided a look at all three versions of the Supreme x Air Jordan 5, which comes in white, black and camouflage varieties:
The shoe carries many hallmarks of the Air Jordan line, with a few tweaks included as well. The red shark teeth, which feature on all three varieties, are a nice touch, as is the "94" stitched into the shoe around the heel.
The companies had kept their cards close to their chests regarding the release of the Supreme x Air Jordan 5.

The Supreme x Air Jordan 5 will be sold through Supreme's online store and its London location beginning on Friday. On Saturday, the shoe will be released in Japan.
Supreme won't carry the shoe at either of its stores in Los Angeles or New York, so the United States is getting an online-only release.
Both Jordan Brand and Supreme look to have learned from the release of the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposite One last April. The New York City Police Department was forced to respond after rowdy fans began congregating outside Supreme's Soho store a night before the Foamposite One's official release.
An eyewitness described the scene, per Frank Rosario and Aaron Feis of the New York Post:
"Some belligerent guy in the front of the line tried to bum-rush the door. He started yelling and then somebody else started yelling and before you knew it, the crowd was rushing toward the store. There was no way to control that chaos. It was a mob riot. The cops came after a few minutes and started Macing people.
"
The amount of secrecy about the official launch likely only drove more interest in the sneaker, if that's even possible at this point. Collectors are sitting on the edge of their seats for the opportunity to either have the Supreme x Air Jordan 5 in their showcase or sell the shoe on the secondary market for a healthy profit.
It's doubtful a bigger release will come along this fall.
